Freedom and Flexibility
The Z-CoiL retailer opportunity is as unique as our footwear. In honor of our founder’s own entrepreneurial spirit, we impose fewer controls on the way you run your business than do other, more traditional retailers. This allows you greater freedom to run your business as you see fit, including having some flexibility in the way you design your store.
Z-CoiL charges a low initial retailer fee of $15,000.00. There is a 20% discount for honorably discharged veterans, bringing their initial fee down to $12,000. Retailers opening a second or multiple stores are charged a discounted initial retailer fee of $8,000 for each store after their first retail store. Unlike most retailers we do not charge a monthly retailer royalty fee or any national advertising fees. We do charge a $5,000 royalty fee to retailers that don't purchase $50,000 worth of inventory per year, beginning with the second full calendar year they are in business.
Marketing Communications Program
Where other retailers charge a monthly fee for Marketing Expenses, Z-CoiL Footwear allocates a percentage of your footwear purchases toward a Marketing Communications Program budget to assist you with the expense of advertising.
A Schedule to Suit Your Lifestyle
Unlike many around-the-clock retailer operations, your Z-CoiL store needs to be open only 46 hours a week, and may be closed on holidays.
The loyal devotion of Z-CoiL customers leads to repeat business and becomes your greatest source of referred business through powerful word-of-mouth promotion.
Retailers are Key
Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear is sold solely through our distributor network—not through mail-order or the Internet. We strive to build and maintain a solid, mutually-supportive relationship with each and every one of our retailers.
As a Z-CoiL retailer, your store territory is guaranteed, and there is no limit on the number of five-year terms you may renew, provided you remain in good standing.
A 5-day, comprehensive training program is provided free of charge for you and your store manager. Z-CoiL Technical Training is an engaging, interactive, and hands-on experience where you not only practice making adjustments to your own Z-CoiL footwear, but also work with actual customers in our flagship corporate store. In fact, ABCOP (American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics) awards 22.25 scientific CE credits for the valuable instruction received during this course in human anatomy, gait training, use of the pedograph, and more! Regional re-training is held on occasion as well, to hone skills and keep the information fresh and up to date.
Strong Corporate Support
You will be assigned a corporate liaison who is dedicated to your continued success and will be your point of communication with the company. A retailer support website provides ongoing assistance through an interactive forum of your peers, a bi-monthly newsletter, and a marketing toolkit. You will receive a wide array of collateral marketing materials, and you will be invited to attend an annual Distributors Conference. A Distributor Advisory Group has also been formed to represent your interests and concerns.
